Yeah, the one 3.0 has my USB C cable for my Pro Controller plugged in at all times. There is no benefit using the 3.0 usb port for your pro controller. You may want to consider using something on the 3.0 usb port that can take advantage of the extra speed. The network adapter is one such device, but only if you have a very fast internet connection.
